KukaCable Signs 6 Container Solar PV Cable With Electrical Renewable Energies In South African

KukaCable signed a contract of solar pv cable with  Electrical Renewable Energies in South Africa for six containers of solar cables on August 26.

The project is located in the 540MW large-scale solar and battery power generation project in the Northern Cape. After the project is put into operation, the solar installed capacity is 540MW and the battery energy storage capacity is 225MW/1140MWh. When completed, the project will provide clean energy to about 120,000 households and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 600,000 tons per year. The project is expected to take about 15 months to complete and create nearly 3,000 jobs.

South Africa is a country rich in renewable energy resources and an important player in the green energy economy. In recent years, photovoltaic, wind energy and hydrogen energy products have developed rapidly, but the supply of raw materials is seriously insufficient, and the development of supply and demand is unbalanced. "In particular, photovoltaic products such as solar modules, solar panels, solar cables, and solar mounts have always been supplied in Europe, but due to the high cost of local manufacturing in Europe and the long time required to establish a complete supply chain, our current shipments cannot be satisfied. cycle, so had to seek new suppliers,” said COO of South African Electric Energy.

A week ago, the company found us through the website and asked for red and black solar cable 4mm  and solar cable 6mm . We sent the price and specification of 4mm&6mm solar cable for the first time. After comparing the price, quality, delivery time, and trade terms of several solar cables, we finally chose KUKA CABLE. Thanks to Eugene Esterhuizen for his recognition of our company, we look forward to the smooth completion of this project, which will serve as a solid foundation for South Africa. a significant contribution to the economy and the green energy sector.
