Types of solar energy cable connectors

         Connectors are the bridges for transmitting signals and connecting currents in electronic devices. According to the application environment, frequency and objects, connectors can be divided into many types, and the choice of connectors is also different. The most common connector is the mc4 connector. BTB connector, FPC connector, FFC connector, RF connector, etc.

BTB connector

         The BTB connector has the most powerful transmission capability among all current connector products, and can be used to connect PCB boards to achieve mechanical and electrical connections.

         BTB connectors usually use a narrow chip contact method, which is characterized by the use of a combination of male and female sockets. There are three basic efficiencies, namely electrical efficiency, mechanical efficiency and environmental performance.

FPC connector

          FPC connectors, also called flexible printed circuit boards, are made of foldable and bendable materials and are used to connect the display to the drive circuit.

The FPC connector is small, compact and highly integrated, which can effectively save space, simplify the wiring process and save labor costs.

FFC connection

The FFC connector is a new type of data cable, which is made of PET insulation material a            nd extremely thin tinned flat copper wire, which is laminated through a high-tech automated equipment production line, so it is also called a flat cable connector.

         Compared with FPC connectors, FFC connectors form a different line. The FFC connector is a flexible printed circuit made of flat copper foil sandwiched between the top and bottom insulating foil films. The finished product is relatively simple; while the connector FPC is a flexible chemically etched circuit board, which is used to process FCCL (flexible copper foil) to obtain different single-sided, double-sided and multilayer structure wiring.
