The relationship between extending solar panel cable and photovoltaic inverters

      As an important electrical equipment inside the photovoltaic power generation system, photovoltaic inverters have relatively complete various protection functions. Specifically, they have the following basic protection functions.

      (1) Enter the overvoltage insurance account:


      When the input voltage is higher than 130% of the rated voltage, the inverter should be protected and displayed.


      (2) Enter the undervoltage protection account:


      When the input voltage is lower than 85% of the rated voltage, the inverter should be protected and displayed.


      (3) Input reverse connection protection:


      When the positive and negative poles of the input terminals are reversed, the inverter should have a protection function and display.


      (4) Lightning protection:


      The inverter should have lightning protection.


      (5) Overcurrent protection:


      When the load is short-circuited or the current exceeds the allowable value, the overcurrent protection of the inverter should be able to ensure timely measures to protect it from surge current damage. When the working current exceeds 150% of the rated value, the inverter should be able to automatically protect.


      (6) Output short circuit insurance customers


      The short-circuit protection action time of the inverter should not exceed 0.5s.
