The advantages and disadvantages of rubber cables and PVC cables

Rubber cables are distinguished according to different rubber main bodies, and different main body materials have different performance differences. The rubber cable is soft, flexible, resistant to oil, acid, and alkali corrosion, high and low temperature, and can be used normally between minus 60 degrees and 120 degrees, and has a long service life. Generally, vulcanized rubber cables have better heat deformation than PVC rubber, but they have poor tear resistance and abrasion resistance and are easy to oxidize. Rubber cables are more expensive and more expensive than PVC cables and are generally used for temporary wiring. PVC cable is easy to soften at high temperature, and it is easy to be brittle at low temperature, and the safety factor is low. PVC cables are generally used when laying in cable trenches and have better oxidation resistance than rubber cables.
