Cautions for cable safety

With the increasing complexity of the electrical system, the utilization rate of cable increases rapidly, which brings great convenience to daily life. However, a large number of cables have been put into use, but people's awareness of the safe use of electricity is still very weak. Therefore, cable fire accidents have occurred frequently in recent years. Some cautions for the safe use of electric cables need to be understood in order to enhance people's safety awareness and improve the safety of electrical systems.

1. Cable lines and insulation must be kept smooth and intact, and wires at sockets, switches must be checked regularly to prevent leakage and electric shock. Don't randomly pull and connect the wires at will, it will easily cause overload operation and short circuit.

2. Use a reasonable fuse at the main gate instead of copper wire, aluminum wire or iron wire.

3. If a fire is caused by a short circuit or other related factors, remember to cut off the power supply and do not directly extinguish the fire with water to prevent accidents such as electric shock.

4. If you find someone getting an electric shock, don't pull the person with your hands. It is necessary to unplug the switch quickly, remove the wire with a dry wooden stick or bamboo pole, and give first aid immediately with correct artificial respiration or chest extruding method. 5. All high-power or electrical equipment with related instructions must be equipped with the standard or provisions of the grounding wire.
