The main technical requirements of solar cables

Solar cable is a special cable used for solar photovoltaic systems (PV systems)or solar systems. It has the characteristics of weather resistance, high-temperature resistance, friction resistance, etc., and has an ultra-long Service life, high-performance insulating materials, and sheath materials after radiation cross-linking by high-energy electron accelerators have absolutely reliable insulating and mechanical properties. The main technical parameters of photovoltaic cables are as follows:

1. The DC power supply circuit usually uses two-core cables, and single-core cables can be used when needed.

2. Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables should not be used in places where the high temperature is above 100°C or the low temperature is below -20°C.

3. When laying cables directly, steel tape armored cables should be used when the cables are under heavy pressure or are in danger of mechanical damage.

4. The maximum working current of the cable core temperature shall not exceed the allowable value according to the service life of the cable.

5. Determine the ambient temperature of the continuous allowable current-carrying capacity of the cable. If the cable is laid in the air or in a cable trench, the average value of the highest temperature of the month should be taken.
