Solar cables in distributed photovoltaic systems can be divided into DC solar cables, AC solar cables, and grounding cables according to different application locations.
DC solar cables are mainly series cables between modules and modules, parallel cables between strings and between strings and DC distribution boxes (combiner boxes), and cables between DC distribution boxes and inverters. Most of the DC cables are laid outdoors and need to be protected from moisture, sun, cold, and ultraviolet. Therefore, the DC cables in distributed photovoltaic systems generally choose photovoltaic-certified special cables. Taking into account the output current of DC connectors and photovoltaic modules, the current The commonly used photovoltaic DC cable is PV1-F 1*4mm².
AC solar cables are mainly used from the AC side of the inverter to the AC combiner box or AC grid-connected cabinet. The AC cables installed outdoors need to be protected from moisture, sun, cold, and ultraviolet, as well as long-distance laying. Generally, YJV type cables are used. ; AC cables installed indoors need to consider fire prevention, rodent prevention, and ant prevention.
Ground cables are used for lightning protection grounding of components, grounding of component supports, and grounding of the AC output end of inverters.
