Flame retardant properties of PV1-F solar cable

Wire flame retardant actually means that the PV1-F solar cable has a flame retardant function. It means that the insulating layer on the outside of the PV1-F solar cable is added with fuel resistance, which effectively delays the spread of the open flame. After the open flame is extinguished, the PV1-F solar cable will automatically extinguish. PV1-F solar cables have passed the flame retardant test and have excellent flame retardant effects, making them very suitable for use in photovoltaic power stations and household photovoltaic equipment. Flame-retardant test: Under the specified test conditions, the sample is burned. After the test fire source is removed, the flame spread is only within a limited range, and the residual flame or residual burn can be extinguished by itself within a limited time.

Flame-retardant characteristics: In the event of a fire, it may be burned out and cannot operate normally, but it can prevent the spread of the fire. In simple terms, it can be understood as follows: In case of a fire in a PV1-F solar cable, the burning degree can be limited to a local area without spreading, which is conducive to the escape of personnel, protects other electrical equipment, and avoids greater economic losses.
