Installation of household solar modules

Solar modules refer to packages and internal connections that can independently provide DC output. A household photovoltaic power generation system is mainly composed of photovoltaic components, inverters, brackets, cables, and other components. So what points should be paid attention to when installing solar modules?

        PV module installation

   1. The gap between the solar module and the mounting layer is set to 50mm or more, and there is a 20mm gap between the modules.

   2. The lowest point of the solar module should be 300mm away from the ground. When it is a general ground, it should not be less than 1000mm in order to prevent splashing on the sand or damage by small animals.

   3. The distance between the glass surface of the solar module and the roof surface should be at least 10cm. The initial horizontal and vertical spacing between the two components is greater than 20 mm to facilitate the installation of the medium pressure block. After the final fixation, the horizontal and vertical spacing are both set to 20 mm.

   4. The distance between the module frame and the side of the guide rail is not less than 20mm.

  5. The connecting wires between the components should be bound with tie wraps every 50cm.

   DC combiner box installation

  1. The insulation resistance between the incoming and outgoing ends of the photovoltaic combiner box and the grounding end of the combiner box is not less than 2MΩ (DC1000V).

2. The installation height of the inverter must be reasonable, the air inlet of the inverter is 600mm away from the ground, and the air outlet is 400mm.

3. The installation height of the inverter must be reasonable, the air inlet of the inverter is 600mm away from the ground, and the air outlet is 400mm.

  Solar cable installation

   1. Leave a cable margin of 20-30cm at both ends of the component cable to ensure that 2-3 cable ends can be made.

       2. The PV modules pre-place the cables according to the location of the PV combiner box, and the reserved length of each group cannot exceed 30cm.

   grounded wire installation

      1. The ground wire should be round steel or flat steel, preferably round steel, and the diameter of the round steel should not be smaller than 8mm. The section of flat steel should not be less than 48mm2, and its thickness should not be less than 4mm.

      2. The vertical grounding wire buried in the soil should be angle steel, steel pipe, or round steel, and the horizontal grounding body buried in the soil should be flat steel or round steel. The diameter of round steel should not be less than 10mm; the cross-section of flat steel should not be less than 100mm2, and its thickness should not be less than 4mm; the thickness of angle steel should not be less than 4mm; the wall thickness of steel pipe should not be less than 3.5mm, and the vertical grounding device should be laid with frozen soil during grounding construction. Below, and ensure that the grounding resistance of the entire grounding system is not greater than 4Ω.
