The difference between two-core cable and three-core cables

The difference between the two-core cable and the three-core cable for the production of household wires:

1. Different uses

Two-core cables can only be used for single-phase power supply lines, such as 220V. The three-core cable can be used for three-phase power or single-phase power supply lines with ground wire.

2. Different loads

The maximum load current of a three-core cable with the same diameter is smaller than that of a two-core cable, which is caused by the speed of heat dissipation of the cable.

3. The quantity is different

The brown wire is the live wire, the blue wire is the neutral wire, and the yellow-green wire is the ground wire. Generally speaking, the brown is the live wire, the blue is the neutral wire, and there is no ground wire.

Second, the method to prevent damage to the cable

In the process of daily production and household wires, damages such as short circuits, burnout, and aging of wires often occur. . The following are three emergency measures to be taken when the wire insulation is damaged daily.

1. The current through the wire should not exceed the safe current carrying capacity of the wire;

2. Do not expose the wires to dampness, heat, corrosion or bruises, or crushing. Try to prevent the wires from passing through places with high temperatures, high humidity, corrosive steam, and gas. The wires should be properly protected when they pass through places that are easy to be bruised.

3. Regularly check and repair the wiring. If there is any defect, it must be repaired immediately, and the old and aging wires must be replaced in time.
